"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Greenday and "Supersonic" by Bad Religion both make me think of my Aspergers, and I highly doubt that those songs are about that. Does anyone else feel this way about these songs or any other songs?

Firstly, you have excellent taste in music. :)

I doubt that Supersonic is about Asperger's because Greg Graffin (the probable songwriter) briefly discusses autism in his new book Anarchy Evolution and he may have mentioned it otherwise.

Fugazi's song Give me the cure invariably strikes me as a shot at the "curebies" because it equates being "cured" with (figurative) "death".

The song Name by The Goo Goo Dolls is, according to the band, a song about being an orphan. But I relate to the song as feeling disconnected from the world and other people, and other people trying to reach out to me. Also, a couple of the lyrics reflect my interests: Reruns all become our history reflects how most of my memories are memories of my special interests, the majority of which have been movies or television shows. The lyric which follows it, A tired song keeps playing on a tired radio, reflects how I keep listening to the same songs over and over, and my music player is so abused that it's "tired".

The song If I Were A Boy by Beyonce is about a girl saying that she would make a better boyfriend than her ex if she were male. I relate to the song (particularly the first verse and the chorus) as a girl who is attracted to other girls and sometimes wishes she were a boy.

The Soul Asylum song, Misery is really about the recording industry but I thought it described my view on relationships when I was single & frustrated. I was wanting to find someone else who was single & frustrated to put me out of my misery of loneliness
