Do you have an e-bay account? Do you sell or buy stuff in there? I have an account on allegro which is our version of e-bay and I am waiting for getting it activated. I have many things to sell now since I finally got a camera and I am able to put the photos of them on there to attract the potential buyers.

I bought something Kennedy-related (a 1961 Caroline Kennedy magazine) back when I was Kennedy-obsessed, and I recently purchased a copy of ぷよぷよ、a fun Japanese game. That's it. My father and my brother have used it far more than I have.

I have some things to sell that I don't need - like my coat I never wore. I got it for free in high school, no idea why but one day we were just told there were some coats for free so if we wanted, we could take them. So I took one. I'm very interested in selling stuff on allegro, it's just almost like a minor obsessive interest for me now (another interest of this type is for me now also writing in my diary and I do hope it will never be found for everybody would think me to be a psychopath and a narcissitic weirdo - I write in it really very private secrets).

I had bought some ancient coins from an ebay store, but in attempting to clean them I ruined one, gave up trying with two of the smaller ones, and only succeeded with cleaning one to the point where the profile of an emperor was visible with the name "CONSTANS" present and the reverse side to the point where an angel with a sword looks like he's knighting someone. Oh, that and additionally I bought a 5 mW 532nm laser, but such was back years ago when I cared about ebay. Now I provide local businesses with money rather than sift through the myriad potential scams on ebay just to find a few gems occasionally.

I'd really like to buy things from eBay, but I can't because I don't have a credit card.

I just borrowed my mother's (with her permission) for the most recent purchase (my birthday money is in her bank account and it just came off of that.) Then last time, I think she bought it for me because I wouldn't shut up about it.

My parents both have credit cards. I don't know if they'd let me use them for purchasing things off eBay, though.

I have an E-bay account but I haven't bought or sold anything yet. I'm going to buy the book, E-bay for Dummies before I try to sell anything.

I've been on eBay buying & selling for 13 years now... It's carried me through some hard money times, and gotten me the best deals imaginable on anything from clothes to cars and even stuff for my special interest collections!

I use ebay. Mostly to buy things I saw elsewhere, for cheaper. I have sold items but it's a lot of little steps and mostly it just stresses me out.

I have an ebay account as well. I have bought tons of stuff there. Even cloth diapers for my baby and plastic pants. I only sold two items on there.


You don't need a credit card to buy. You can use debit or checks or money order, whatever the seller prefers.

I used to sell and now I just buy.

I've had an eBay account for the last 5/6 years I think. I do a lot of buying at times. Some of the stuff I've bought is for my parents. They don't have accounts. My dad works in construction & he has me get a lot of tools from there. sometimes. I only sold like 2 things on it thou. I sold my old LG Voyager phone true eBay's Instant Sale program recently. Got $26.48. I was going to drop it off at BestBuy to be recycled but I got an email from eBay about someone buying phones. Very easy process. I'm a member of the eBay Bucks program. I received an offer about it a year or so ago; I earn I think 2% in eBay credit & at the end of 3 months; I have a month to spend it. I would highly recommend having a PayPal credit or debit card if you use eBay a lot. If you don't; you have to keep your bank account linked to be PayPal verified & whenever you make a transaction on eBay; your bank account is selected as your default payment method & you have to change it every time to use a non PayPal credit/debit card. I've had a couple problems in the past because I forgot to manually select my credit-card; I didn't have much money in the bank at the time; I wasn't overdrawn but I was close. I earn 2 points for every $1 on my PayPal card & that stays selected as my default payment method. I only use that card for PayPal/eBay stuff thou.

I have a pack of newborn Huggies from the late 90's. The manufacture years on it are 1992, 1995, and 1998. I got them for three bucks on Craigslist and I decided to just save them because old disposable diapers are worth big bucks and the bids go high on them so I decided I might sell them on ebay.


Watch out for scams on ebay though because sometimes sellers will try and scam buyers. My husband has been skunked out of his money twice on there. My husband waited too long to file a claim with paypal and now he can't open a dispute. He bought a game back in December that wasn't even released yet and it was from the UK but the seller was in Florida. When the game did get released, the game never came and my husband figured the seller had to wait for the game to get shipped to him and two months later, it never came. My husband tried contacting the seller and he never responded. Just don't buy any games that haven't been released yet and this seller had over 3000 positive feedback.

Also sometimes buyers try and scam sellers so beware. They will claim they never got their item or the item wasn't as described and try and get their money back without sending back the item. But sadly buyers can open a unfair dispute and get their money back that way and the seller loses their money and the sellers aren't even allowed to leave negative feedback for their buyers so buyers abuse that system by trying to scam their sellers.
