I was in South Portland at a gas station and I saw one of those Google cars with all the cameras mounted on the roof. I waved to it so I'd be easy to spot. I'll post a pic when it gets updated.

Strangely I think it came along the road I live but it hasn't yet appeared online. That was some months ago actually. :chin:

^ They do take a while to appear.
I think on my street it took about half a year, but I'm not sure.

I always notice tons of people walking around in Europe. I saw one guy in... Germany, I think?... and he just got hit by a car before the Google car drove by.

I got snapped by the Google Earth car while drilling a flight at encampment in Camp Swift TX.

Also, you can see my family's van driving behind it for like 5 miles on the road leading up to my subdivision.

Haven't came by our street yet. Both the satelite images and the street images need to be updated where I live. It still shows undeveloped land from four years ago.

Surprisingly, they did mine. It's such an insignificant little maze of domesticity I'm surprised they bothered - or managed to get the car through it all. (small, twisty streets)
The updates are very variable though: some areas quite near me have been updated several times over the past 5 years, while others are extremely outdated - to the extent that the single buildings shown have long since vanished and been replaced by groups of houses.
