Just wondering if people experienced with allergy shots can post their experiences? Was it worth the time and expense? Do you still have to take allergy meds or deal with allergy symptoms after going through the shot series?

Well I think someone would no if they did. The typical protocal is 2-5 years of allergy shots with having to go 1-3 times a week for shots the first few months. All depends on your allergist and your allergies.
