I have a particular name that I use for people who's name are to long for me to read when I'm at work.

That particular name is my nickname at work. It's an Englishman's name beginning with D.

When I'm at home I call myself by a shortened version of my sir name. Which was another nickname I accumulated from another place I worked at.

When I was a kid we all used sir names to address each other.

I do have an actual name too, although it very rarely gets used.

My pawpaw nicknamed me weasel because I was always fighting with my cousin mongoose, yes his actual nick name. It's what the whole family calls me. I'm not offended, weasels are awesome animals. Though my step dad changed it to Wheezer. (off steel magnolias). But I prefer weasel.

When my youngest cousins were babies they couldn't say weasel so they called me weewee. :/
