This is my 10,000th post on WP.

It's been a great few years. Even during the two-year ban, I learned a lot about getting my points across to other people. Most important of these points is given in Matthew 7:6...

This means to me that if I have something important to say, then I should save it for a receptive audience, and not reply to someone that I know will delight in tearing my statements apart. This does not mean that I don't make the occasional snide comment, sarcastic remark, or lame joke of my own. It only means that when the recipients are obviously not in a receptive mood, then that's my cue to leave a thread and seek conversation elsewhere.

Simple, eh?
