For all of us American WPers, except those in Indiana, Daylight Savings Time ends tonight, so I hope you saved up plenty of daylight during the summer. Don't forget to turn back your clocks one hour, which means you get an extra hour of WP fun tonight> It also means that my watch will finally be accurate again after six months in the wilderness.

If I cared about what time the UK uses, I might know the answer. I don't.

EDIT: After further research, the answer is yes, the UK will turn back its clocks tonight.

Does that mean that I can travel back to 1964, and ride on me Double Deckers?

Well, if every government in the world decides that it's 1964 again, I suppose you could.

1964 wasn't a bad year for music.

Rag Doll, by the Four Seasons
Chapel of Love - the Dixie Cups
Do wah Diddy - Manfred Mann
Leader of the Pack - The Shangri-las
Ringo - Lorne Greene
Last Kiss - J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers
Under the Boardwalk - the Drifters
Dancing in the Street - Martha and the Vandellas
Suspicion - Terry Stafford
Bread and Butter - the Newbeats
Come A Little Bit Closer - Jay and the Americans
The Shoop Shoop Song - Betty Everett
Bits and Pieces - the Dave Clark Five
A Summer Song - Chad and Jeremy
The Girl From Ipanema - Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto
Remember - the Shangri-las
Out of Limits - the Marketts
Because - the Dave Clark Five
Needles and Pins - the Searchers
Louie, Louie - the Kingsmen
House of the Rising Sun - the Animals

And those are just the ones I like.

*Pokes tinky to make sure she's asleep. Goes through her purse/wallet/pockets. Finds money. Puts it in pocket. Walks away nonchalantly*

Nothing to see here. Move along.

So did Sweden, though the time zone isn't the same. When it's 6 in NYC, it's 11 in London and 12 in Stockholm. The UK is -1 hour Central European Standard Time, which most countries in Europe are using.

That's because you're on the southern hemisphere and the summer begins or has already begun by you. Here the winter is on it's way.

I find the clocks changing one of the most stressful things in my life
Why do they do it!! !! !! !
I have a very strong body clock and it takes me at least a week to adjust and I just feel so tense I could burst. None of my family understand how difficult this is for me. Anyone else out there know what I'm talking about?

DLST really confuses the crap out of me. It messes me up so badly... I told myself to wake up at 8:00 AM... so instead, I ended up waking at 7:00 AM.

I love music from a decade before that. And I'm even younger.
