I usually drool in my sleep for one of two reasons:

1) Dental work done on my teeth
2) Having a cold so I have to breathe out of my mouth

I do sometimes. I usually sleep with my mouth open because I have a deviated septum and I unconsciously end up sleeping with my mouth open.

Yes, but it seems like I only do it when people are near me (e.g. on a plane; while car pooling).

Sometimes I drool in my sleep, but not that much. I usually get tonsil stones whenever I wake up on some mornings.
