I discovered this amazing animatronic pet toy last night and instantly fell in love, unrequited love of course because it's SO EXPENSIVE.

Basically, it's very much like a real pet dinosaur except it's mechanic. You can teach it to recognise it's name, learn it tricks, feed it when it's hungry, nurse it when it's sick (it has special medicinal "leaves" and "ice blocks", yes these toys can get ill!), stroke it and pet it, It is responsive to human voice and is programmed with "emotions" such as happy, playful, scared and sad. They are programmes with individual characteristics, so Pleos that move shyly or are aggressive (you can downloads personality traits on their website.) They're also designed to want to be cared for, hence the babyish features and I certainly want to cuddle one of these beauties!
They are $469 though.

Here is an example of that these Pleos do to people! A crazy cat lady, but with pleos, she "rescues" unwanted and broken Pleos and fixes them, and has some new ones. If I ever got one of these toys I would probably turn into her.

I like them, but the price is such a put-off!!
Maybe in a few years though....
They might even have Para ones then.
