This is an odd one for me, when I was in my late teens and 20s, I could tell very closely someone's age, with few exceptions (mostly people around my age or slightly older). However, I am in my late 30s now, and have to admit it's more challenging - not just for people in my own demographic, but my former demographic of youth. It doesn't seem to be any easier when guessing the age of either men or women. What about the rest of you?

I am terrible at guessing people's ages. I always have to ask the person directly or someone else how old a person is. Someone who is 15 can seem thirty to me, sometimes the other way around. There is a member on here who is apparently in his twenties but to me he looks around 60. The best I can guess ages is generally plus or minus ten years but it is often plus or minus twenty years. Children are easier to guess the age of due to their size, but I have difficulty there too if there is only a photo of a face.

I don't seem to be able to compile the information in faces into an age. I can see details in faces such as eyes looking a certain age. Wrinkles are another indicator. Hair, lack of, or grey/white is also an indicator. Sometimes the individual aspects of a face contradict each other and confuse me. Maybe it is related to autism? I think there is definitely a wonky circuit in my brain regarding age recognition. I can recognise faces though no problem. The only problem is attaching an age to them.

Take for example my avatar. It is the actor Kim Chan. He looks somewhere between 45 and 80 or maybe even 90. :?

Well it's hard to guess peoples ages because of make-up & using substance that cause ageing. That’s why people think I am younger than what I am.

No one is really good at telling age. It really is just a guess. Only reason they think people look a certain age, is because majority of them are doing the same thing, not the real age look.

Can't really tell by hair, because people use hair products to dye it.

I've actually had this unique random ability with about a 90% accuracy rate I'd say.

I also pick out random statistics well, or numbers. I think it has more to do with luck than being aware...
