Has anyone else found that they are less prone to "stimming" than they were in adolescence? I used to hand flap regularly but since about junior year of high school I pretty much completely stopped. Is that strange? Is it just something that happens as you get older?

I think mine have changed as I have got older, actually might have got a bit worse.
Also welcome to you both!

My stimming (pacing, running in circles) has gotten less intense since I was younger. I used to literally run up to 9 or 10 times per day... Now I run between 1 to 4 times per day. Not sure how much I pace, but it usually isn't very much.

I stim more than I used to. But my hand flapping is still reserved for moments of happy excitement.
