Favourite meal would be roast chicken, roast parsnips, broccoli, sweet potatoes, mash. Followed by lemon meringue pie. :D

Never had parsnips, but everything else on there sounds good.

What I like and what I can eat are two different things. Processed food tend to be too
high in sodium, trans fat, saturated fat. Infact if your trying to avoid those things you
pretty much have to cook your on food. I'm very fearfull of eating out because of
the use of trans fats in that food and the unknown sodium concentrations. The FDA
even permits 0.5 gram of trans fat per serving to say 0 trans fat on the label when
the fat break down of the other fats is in 0.1 gram resolution. If hydrogenated oil
is on the label I do not eat it. If I'm not sure I want eat something till I look it up on the net.

Many things I cook myself require too much effort and cooking for one person is
not practical unless you like eating leftovers (my dogs eat the leftovers). I've allways
dreamed of making a simple low cost drink mix I could use to get most my food intake
that way. Forexample I have maltodextrin (glucose polymers) that are water soluable
that I have added to milk to add more complex carbohdrates to it. In like my
earily 20's I drank upto a half gallon(2 liters) of milk a day as that single food. But I
am not crazy about low fat milk and whole milk has too much saturated fat.

I'm a total foodie! I love the following (in no particular order):

Oysters
Chicken
Cauliflower Bake (can give out the recipe if anyone is interested!!)
Mixed Grill/BBQ (sausages, chops, steak, etc)
Potatoes
Lasagne
A home cooked roast
Caesar Salad (with chicken and/or with cooked green prawns)
Pad Thai (lovely Thai noodle dish)
Satay Chicken skewers (yummmmo)

(Notice the lack of fruit and dairy?? Not a fan of either)

Does a parsnip taste like a turnip?? I tried one once, thinking it would be bland, and it was spicy ! !!
