A coworker of mine is going to Sweden and Norway for a week. I'm SO jealous!! ! She says she'll buy souvenirs if anyone wants some. Does anyone know what would be good? I don't know if they might sell books about Scandinavia in English or Spanish, especially on Scandinavian royalty or history. They're terribly hard to find, even online. If she gets a chance to go to the Stockholm Palace or any of the royal residences, does anyone know if and what they sell souvenirs they sell. I've still got to consult with my mom about how much money is sensible to spend on a trip.

They've got incredible chocolate in Sweden; I had neighbors that brought me back a hunk of heaven on one of their trips home, imagine Cadbury's but 10 times better. They also have a version of 'Swedish Fish' candy shaped like cars.

When family brings me souvenirs it's things like restaurant menus, local newspapers, other small things that represent a taste of life in wherever they've visited

Ooohhh, chocolate. Even though she hasn't left yet, I'm already starting to look forward to when she comes back.lolI wonder if they have lots of Starbucks over there. I've read that the Swedes are the biggest coffee drinkers in the world. If they're shaped like cars, why are they called fish? :?
