In my attempt to get all kinds of music, I'm here to ask you a small favor...Right now I have somewhere around 5,500 songs, and I'm trying to get to a goal of 20,000 or more...All I ask is that you post at least 15 of your favorite songs, so I can download them. I will take most anything, with the exception of religious songs, because I'm not a religious person. I will give any song a chance, and hopefully, I'll create new tastes. If I don't download your song, that means I already have it and love it!

1,5: Gong - Angels Egg (great psych/jazz fusion stuff. The effect is ruined unless you listen to the whole record)
2, 10: Sigur Ros - Takk (ALso very spacey Icelancic stuff that might as well be from the Moon due to its foriegn textures, yet in the end, its immediate accessibility wins)
3: The Fall - Hex Endunction Hour (Not for all tastes, but if you can handle hearing Mark E. Smith tonelessly rant to grinding industrial rhythms, this is for you)
4. The Flaming Lips - At War with the Mystics (Not the Lips Best, but worth it to check out)
6,7,8: Spoon - Telephono (Although it sounds like the Pixies, Spoon's debut is rawer, noisier, and more experimental than anything done by Black Francis)
9: Deerhoof - The Runners Four (Great pop songs; the vocalist is very harsh in tone, very squeaky, but I eventually began to accept her voice as an integral part of the band)

That's just a fraction of what I could recommend you...

I don't have an iPod, but if I did it would be covered in video game music.
