Tea is amazing! I would really recommend getting loose leaf tea and an infuser. It is much better than tea bags. Look around non-chain coffee shops. I get my tea from a small coffee shop in the town where my school is. I like Oolong teas myself. Darjeeling is also good.

I start my day with English Breakfast, I have a cup of Green with my lunch, I have Orange Pekoe for my Mid-Afternoon Tea Time and I end the day with Decaffinated Tea. I haven't felt compelled to drink Coffee since I've moved out. I haven't really had any strange emotions to block, by self-medicating with Coffee.

I don't like tea, only the taste, but I like the smell.
Doctor Who drinks tea because he loves drinking with jellybabies and reads a book, he also drinks tea for tricky regenerations.

Glad you asked! I love tea. I usually start the day with either a white or green tea, and if I dine on rich foods for supper, I drink red tea to aid with digestion. A good place to shop for tea is an Asian market, which is where I buy mine. They can answer questions about the many different kinds of tea they carry. There are teas for slimming down, for stomach upset, for stimulating appetite, and for dampening it. :) Tea also has anti-oxidants.

Some teas have low caffeine, depends upon how long you steep it. When I make green tea, I use a small amount if loose, or only one tea bag per pot of tea. I steep it a minimum of two or three minutes, then remove tea bag. It has a delicate taste, and is mildly stimulating. I find that coffee makes me manic and irritable. :o

Tea, ah, wonderful drink. It has about half the caffeine of coffee. I like just ordinary Indian tea best.

A tea will say if it has carffeine or not; Green tea is good for you digestion, and caffeine free, Nettle is a good detox, i know a homeopath who swears by it whenever she has a breakout or rash, i find peppermint is good for headaches while camomile is meant to be relaxing.

Hi there...

Funny this was posted as I just orderd tons of tea for our retail store for the holidays. We enjoy hot tea around here as we all have GERD (reflux disease) and most teas don't bother us as tisanes (tea wanna-bes and most herbal teas do not have caffeine. If you are buying flavored teas, be sure to check the ingredients, if it has black tea listed, it's got caffeine in it. And most of the time the grade of tea is in part of it's name, like Orange Pekoe, which has nothing to do with the fruit, the orange, it's the quality of the tea and most of the orange tea in the supermarket tea (like lipton, luzinene) is only dust (cheap stuff) that is in the bag. You want to get the loose leaf tea to get the higher quality of tea.
Tisanes are my favorite as they don't irritate my stomach...my favorite is candle apple tea, with real bits of apple and carmel chunks!! ! If you are new to tea you will find some good information on some of larger tea sites such as www.adagio.com and the other gazillion tea suppliers worldwide!

We sell Christmas tea in our store in gift sets, it's got real pieces of peppermint candy along with the black tea and peppermint leaves, and I think some other spices as well. It has a wonderful aroma!

Oh and white tea is much better than green tea in taste as well as benefits to the body, but the price is $$$$$.
