I have mixed feeling about this, obviously, I think seattle was over him. And they got a cool buck off his ass through marketing, but I'm left to wonder. why? He could have stayed in seattle. became a legend, but the owners got rid of him! not only does the NY's team market boast a huge pay roll but they seem to want to Aquire all of the HOF'ers
and because of thier large bank account can afford to do so. I'm just upset because I really would have liked to see a guy retire, where he started. All those years ichihero played for the mariners they sucked! and this is the respect they give 'em. depressing to say the least! but I hope, and its a hope at this point, That when he does get to 3,000 hits he effing gives the M's a piece of his mind for trading him! the basterds!
