After putting up with the eyeball for so long I thought it was time for a change. Then I recalled one of my old childhood fixations with Newton balls and said to myself out loud "ah ha! that will do". So I set to work on Adobe Illustrator and here is the result.

That was also a Childhood obsession of mine. That and EXIT signs.

Nice art work. You did it in Illustrator?? I had that 'toy', and loved demonstrating the various movements while explaining about the conservation of energy.

Grown-up thought I was "tetched".

I used to have one of those things! unfortunately, being the destructive little kid I was, I tangled it up to the point where you couldn't move any of them even if you tried.

I was fiddling with one of those in a classroom back in junior high, and there was this other kid who kept trying to take it away from me, and we got into a real struggle over it; the teacher finally took notice of this and said (to the other kid): "Let go of Bruce's balls!"

The whole class immediately erupted in hysterics (as you can doubtless imagine).
