Dead body - what would you do?

If you were walking along a road, and a body fell out of a doorway/window/anything with a concealed entrance, and landed in front of you, onto the pavement, what would you do?

Phone the police.

I'll grab his phaser, you lift his wallet.

I would say "I didn't just see that"

Get gloves, take any cash from the wallet, put wallet back, remove the gloves, THEN phone the police.

Prod it with a stick.

I would call 999. If the body was chopped up or otherwise mutilated, I'd think "hey, free anatomy lesson!" and study the body while waiting for the police to come.

I'm pretty sure I'd freeze up. I would then run away as fast as possible once I come back to myself. But I've never encountered that situation so I really can't say. because I react very different at different times.

It would depend on a lot of things. First off, if it just fell there in front of me then it is likely that it was pushed by someone wishing to conceal a crime. Therefore, it is likely that they would not want me to have seen what I had seen so I would get the heck out of there fast! After that I would notify the police once I had gotten to a safe distance away and was certain I had not been followed.

I'd look around for hidden cameras just in case it's a prank TV show. Cuss at my luck a couple of times and then call the cops.

This happened to me once ...

I didn't recognize it as a dead body though and kept swimming near the floating carcass for about an hour before someone else saw it, freaked out and called the police. Hahaha... I didn't swim there again for about -oh... ten years.

Other then making sure it was dead, when I had time, I wouldn't be concerned with the body at all. I would be thinking about what made the body. In this case I would retreat to position that I could observe the place but still have my own retreat route. I would then call the police and wait for them to arrive.
