Anyone else fascinated by Hot Lava?

I dont know why but for some reason I have always been fascinated by Lava its beautiful bright yellow orange and red colors and knowing the fact its over 2000 degrees farenheight and makes interesting rocks like obsidian basalt and gabbro. for some reason i have this desire to cast furniture or a whole floor in it, that said i still havent found any way to make that even remotely plausible.

I want to throw propane tanks into it and see it go kaboom!! ! Also an excellent way to get rid of garbage just throw it in hehe.

I am fascinated by the shapes and the movement. I already did one silver art jewelry piece inspired by it. I'm hoping to get more money for silver clay to do more. I have tons of sketches and ideas.

Not really but I used to play Quake, and diving into the lava was my favourite way to die.

I know this may sound morbid but I would like to toss stuff like roadkill tossed in lava.

I love lava and lava lamps and would like to have a floor made of it, somehow (like they have on Sims 2).
