The essay assignment is, believe it or not, about why people want to believe aliens came down to earth to help us silly humans build pyramids, gave us machine tools, interbred with us, etc.

Essay is done. However I can't think of a catchy title. Currently stuck trying to use the word Xenophilia: (blank) ...

my prof. is crazy and I know he tends to give lots of extra points if you can make him laugh. Title is important for that.

Now... charge your ASuberpowers and suggest some titles please :)

"Don't Probe me Bro!" (<--Gut reaction).

Maybe "My mother REALLY IS an alien" (If you look at the "interbreeding" thing).

Or even "Are we aliens? Extraterrestrials and McCarthyism" (Seems like there should be a better way to word this... but knock yourself out)

If you're ok with a 2001 space odyssey plug, "Xenophilia: A Monolithic problem...."

Or maybe "Xenophilia is Srs bznss".

"Pyramids, Paperweights or Alien Landing site?"

After that, it would depend greatly upon what your position is.

For instance:
Pro-Alien Conspiracy's: "Aliens stole my bike!"

Anti-Alien Conspiracy's: "Why Aliens wont make the play-offs"

Theres all kinds of places you can take this. Your imagination is really the only limit. Trick is to take a contemporary reference that lends itself to the topic or position of your paper and throw in a direct reference. "UFO's Don't go to eleven!" for instance. Or "Alien wars: The <Insert interested, polarized group of people/organization here> Strike back". Or maybe "The Passion of the Alien, More unsubstantiated beliefs".

If you wanted to work belief/religion, seems like theres a parody to be made between Belief in aliens and our current global religions... Maybe something like "Aliens, the next Pre-teen Peril"?

Loony Tunes had a martian character you might be able to use "Marvin the Martian".... Youd have to be a bit creative to stretch that though probably.

Depending on the age of your professor, you might do better off going for older references too. Something like "How Aliens stole woodstock", again depending on the position of your paper.

IDK, without knowing more about what you wrote for your primary points, or how you went about it, Im at a loss for more suggestions. Ideally you want something thats at least marginally related to your paper, and not just aliens in general.

Good Luck,
Aldran
