When I watch the Simpsons I often can't help but wonder why Bart doesn't have that many friends. He is often known as popular and ''cool'', yet he is often seen hanging around with kids who wouldn't normally be his type in real life. Milhouse is OK but is known as a geek because of his big glasses, and he always gets bullied. Martin is often known as a nerd and is really clever and so I thought he'd be hanging out in the library more. Nelson isn't really a proper friend, he is insecure and is often seen bullying people and hanging out with teenagers - who often bully Bart. Richard, Wendall and Louis are more likely to be Bart's type because they just seem normal, but he isn't seen that much hanging out with them.
