I think that "I cannot be understood" is more accurate in my case.

Both!

All people more less have to deal with other people not understanding them. People
just do not judge others in an objective way.

A person with AS (depending on the scale of the spectrum their own) will naturally be
less understood.

A person with AS by definition has social cognitive differences that lead to delayed development of social skills so it natural we may missunderstand others.

Here's how it is - if your someone who fits into society well enough to where your angst and woes in life are pretty well confined in what you'd consider the 'normal' range you're going to have a lot of experience in dealing with different types of people but not a great deal of insight into what makes them tick necessarily since it just hasn't been pushed on you. On the other hand, having AS, you at least get to understand very well how a lot of other people are different from you, then different from each other, and the end result is that if your observant enough and are working harder at it your probably going to understand them better than they understand you. AS is also just one of those things thats alien to their way of thinking because, the thought that you literally can't do certain finite things but are smart - they have a great deal of trouble piecing that together because even trying to imagine that takes a great deal of information and insight, more than most people are realistically going to have. Think of it that way I guess, if you never had AS try to imagine how difficult it would be to even try to envision how it would work, how it would feel, you realize its not an easy task.
