1.MTV has made me depressed since it considerably hindered my abilite to make friends.

After the year 2000, Pop/Top 40 music "went to hell in a handbasket'! It's no longer cool to listen to!

It's no longer 100% Music Videos!

MTV sucked ass when it actually played music. Now it both sucks ass and there's no music. I did like Beavis and Butthead.

How can MTV possibly hinder your ability to make friends?

They made kids into gangstas and sluts (<females of course),and they (NT's) make even more fun of me just cuz i'm not gangsta.

MTV ripped off and underpaid the creator of Beavis and Butthead
so he choose to stop making the show.

the fact that it is too modern pop culture

(not that I know, I don't watch it)

The way that it adds to the seeep mentality of NT youths.

I think it teaches people to be superficial. Other than that, I have no problem with it.

• They're not afraid to use black and white for absolutely no reason.
• they are partly responsible for all the eating disorders we have here in america.
• And now the number 4 video on our countdown- Nsync with Bye Bye Bye
• Watching anything they air has been proven to lower your IQ.
• Too many crappy reality tv shows are shown on there Cribs, Pimp My Ride, Meet The Barkers ect.
• it starts such crappy trends like emo.
• Because they have *ANYTHING* other than music on a television station called "Music Television".
• they destroy the imagination and teach people to not think outside the box.
• It makes the music conformity in our society grow even more.
• Thet air music videos that are "hot" then
  they put it on the "video on trial" show one year later saying how "un-hot" the same music video is.
• MTV's fans tend to develop attitudes. Ie: "If you don't watch MTV, you're not cool."
• Their VJ's have no personality and are painfully boring and unlikeable.
• because it's there... MTV is the reason why I don't buy tracks from certain artists (who have usually too much money)
• the culture which it creates: an in-your-face, at-the-moment mishmash of consumerism and emotion
• It wraps your love for a song, any song, into a commercial product that you are forced to absorb every day, ten times at that.
• Becuase when people think of MTV, they think of something OTHER than music.
• There are only 25 songs which are played on mtv each day!
  BTW are Christina Aguilera,Justin Timberlake and 50 cent
  real artists/stars? NO I DON'T THINK SO!! !
• Turn genres of music into fads and types of clothing.
• ruin music by advertising things in videos yet censoring words.
• they hijack real genres and make mainstream crap of it, they hijack good bands and make them turn into crappy radio music
• WE DON'T NEED MTV
• Real artists don't get credit
• They're slowly destroying one subculture at a time...
• VJs are morons...they're trying to be funny but they are pathetic.
• I Don't need specials that tell me that my life sucks because I have to wear the same pair of shoes more than once.
