Little things that disappoint you

I was on the Internet, looking at some interesting Swiss dramas I wanted to buy. Nearly everywhere else were charging either the best part of €25 or were out of stock entirely. Anyway, I finally find this Swiss DVD website, written in beautiful English, and I find the DVDs that I want and they all have English subtitles, and deliver free of charge and each DVD is under a tenner delivered. When I go to register, though, they say they only deliver to Switzerland and Liechtenstein! You wouldn't expect them to have an English option, seeing as English isn't one of the four languages spoken in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

What little things disappoint you?

Most of my little disappointments fall into one of three categories:

1) Wanting to get merchandise of a favorite character from a favorite show or movie and finding out that the merchandise I wanted is either too high-priced or doesn't even exist

2) Wanting to stream episodes of a favorite TV show on Netflix but finding out that it's unavailable to stream and I have to watch it one DVD at a time instead

3) Wanting to interact with a friend or family member but they're either in a crappy mood or too busy to talk to me

Not being able to eat macaroni because we don't have milk, getting a migraine from being on the computer too long because of fun PC games... My brain is about to turn off from tired.

Becase I love eating, my disappointments are often related to food.

- When I buy a perfect-looking fruit, it turns out to be rotten inside.
- The manufacturer of my favorite ice cream modified it a little and made it less tasty.
- A delicious-looking new product (cookies or something) with promising-looking packaging turns out to be disgusting. And in the same way, a beautiful-looking cake in a cafe turns out to be a piece of sh1t.

- Also in the way as the OP's experience, I saw a good new mobile phone on the Internet, then soon found out that it was only for the US.

Oh dang I had this once with an entire box set of transformers DVDs, which I bought, but which tured out to be for the wrong DVD region, not PAL (Europe, Japan), but I think it was the region that includes the UK. My DVD player couldn't play it. I have NO idea why the video store sold those box sets anyway? Maybe for people who have a DVDplayer of that region. It's ludicrous.

Luckily for me I was able to return the box set to the store with my recepit. And later buy the appropriate DVD box for the PAL DVD region.

The little slip ups that I have in some threads when I'm trying to be the nice guy that I am. I feel guilty when I get called out on something that seems insensitive to another member and than I delete what I've said.

People who attack my interests when they're too young to even know what I'm talking about. I'll post about whatever I want, whenever I want. I'll also dress however I want, whenever I want.

How my period makes me feel tired and not like doing anything
Going upstairs for privacy but then being invaded by my siblings
Having tea later than I expected
Getting up in the mornings later than I wanted
Having to get out of bed to go to school when I'm too tired and cold

The list could go on...

+ When a product doesn't live up to my standards (a pair of headphones doesn't even last me a year, regardless of brand and cost).
+ When such products seem to last longer for everyone else when they abuse the f**k out of them, but still fail prematurely even when I "baby" the product.
+ When I wait to purchase something (for said item to be on clearance), only to find people selling it for a ridiculous price.

That mistake that I've made in 2007.

I sold a computer on ebay 2 weeks ago, and still have not received a payment.

Waking up from a good dream.
Having to write essays.
Wanting/needing to get so much stuff done but feeling too tired to move...

being awoken rudely, from a wonderful dream.
DVDs lacking subtitles
ordering CDs mail-order from amazon.com and when they arrive, finding they are in mono instead of stereo.

The toy I thought my son would love, and he almost never plays with it.
