The logical conclusion to the magical claims in the article. If it were truly the case that -language- can alter DNA, then being exposed to language in an uncontrolled fashion would be extremely dangerous because it would cause all sort of random changes. Conversation would be an extremely potent carcinogen.

i know from listening to political conversations in this country, that too much rush [more than one phoneme of one letter of one word] could likely cause cancer in my mind. anyways, the article was not well-written, for sure. but i read elsewhere that scientists have figured out how to encode the digitized audio of MLK's "i have a dream" speech into DNA code. :idea:
