I don't know if I spelled that right. Didn't feel like looking it up. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with this? I went yesterday and got muscle testing, allergy clearing and then she poked me with needles. It only hurt in a few spots like on right hand, tops of both feet and in left calf muscle. I felt real spacey afterwards. I went into work only to have to leave in a couple hours because I felt totally bizarre, not even sure how to explain it.

I don't know if I should even go back. Not sure yet if it helped. It bothered me how she seemed scared of me when she found out I have Aspergers. I had to explain it to her and am never good at explaining it aside from giving examples of things we do and don't do and like and don't like. I did mention the thing about Aspies prefering firm pressure and not light touches. Light touches against my arms are actually painful. Throughout the appointment she kept asking if she was touching me firm enough. That got a little embarrassing.

Did you feel even more 'mind blind' than usual? Were you unable to concentrate? I've never gotten acupuncture. But when I get an adjustment from my chripractor, afterwards I feel exceptionally clear headed and able to concentrate easily. The effect dissipates quickly, though.

It was much different than getting a chiropractic adjustment. With chiro its more like "Ahh...what a relief". With accupuncture it was like feeling out of one's gourd, like being drugged. I couldn't concentrate, couldn't remember what I had just done like 30 seconds prior and didn't want to eat yet my stomach was hurting from hunger pains. I also had a terrible pain in my hand and on top of foot where needles had been. But some of the places didn't hurt at all. She even put two needles in my ear and I was about to freak out but those didn't hurt.

I have had accupunture, and I love it! It took all of my pain away! I am allergic to alot of pain meds, so it is preferred for me. I feel really great after accupunture, although, I do feel a little spacey afterwards.

Sounds like something I don't want to try.

Maybe it was just a first time response. I think I will go back to her to have her clear the lettuce allergy thing if the corn and wheat clearing worked.

I went to one for Ibs but it turned out i didn't have, but a fibriod which was causing my Ibs symptoms. They tell you might feel strange light-headed or dizzy after a treatment but i never did feel anything. The needles didn't do anything for me at all. They kept telling me to keep coming back and it will eventually work, well it never did and winded up throwing good money after bad. It was $100 per treatment. They will try to talk you into keep coming back even if it doesn't work but don't believe it.

How many times did you have the treatments? Just curious. The lady made it sound like I could get cured in one visit. I can tell you she didn't cure the corn allergy because I reacted to it today. Nothing bad I just get stuffy nose when I eat corn. But it would be nice to not react to it especially since I paid her $70.
