When do you take your Christmas tree down?

I haven't had a tree in years. I traditionally took it down Jan. 2.

Ours has been down a long time but I was at my brothers house today and his was still up probably still be in February 8O

One year I'd like to leave it up all year long, just change the decorations. I would have done it this year since my ex left... but my ever "sensible" 7 year old said it should be taken down after New Years.

When I get older I guess...been thinking of all the things I can possibly get away with and blame them on dementia or senility. I think I'd like to have a Harley too. :lol:

day after christmas..some people around here still have their christmas lights up and on at night!

I know of several houses they keep the lights up all year long. I think its easier than to climb on the roof to take them down.

There's a neighbor's house right now with the lights on. I imagine its because we have lots of snow so they thought it would look festive. It does look pretty how there are blue lights on a snow covered tree and the lights reflecting against the snow.
