I love to watch thunderstorms from afar mostly afternoon storms, even more so at sundown. But I hate it when they are overhead and such. I have a holy fear of being struck by lightning.

We had a small tornado hit town last year. The sky looked fine on my side of town but my grandma who lives on the other side of town said the sky looked awful. She didn't see anything but her friend who lived up a few blocks saw it.

Here's the info on it

I would have loved to see that tornado with my own eyes!

I would like to see a tornado in real life for once as long as its not heading for my house

God I hate winter though.....wish it would hurry up and get warm!

I thrive on Thunderstorms. I make myself some tea or hot chocolate, I grab a couple of my buses, I sit on my couch and I wrap a cold blanket around me, than look out the window.

I love thunderstorms. I love it when the rain's pounding on the roof and the windows are rattling in the wind; it's like suddenly the world belongs to something not quite human...

They used to terrify the life out of me, because I always thought that a tornado was going to come spinning out of the clouds at any instant and vacuum me up into the sky; but since my teens I've thoroughly enjoyed them.

But in Texas (the part I'm in, anyway): they no longer seem to be the annual rite of spring that they once were (the last good one we had was in '04, when the power was out for a week).

Oh well.

I love electrical storms. Problem for my dogs though. They think thunder is gun fire and they get excited and look in the sky for ducks.

Song refering to lightening in Australia. Chorus is best at 1:12 into the song
