I wish there were something I could just hand her. she's a typical stupid stereotypical predjudiced Overly religious NT. She doesn't understand this stuff and it's pissing me off. I figure she won't understand and will go away, But honestly, I don't care. OR she'll say "you don't have this!" I try very hard to act "normal" she ahs calledme "creepy"
"disturbing" and "weird" on several occassions, and when an old friend told us she had ADD she said "No you don't." I feel like saying "shut the bleep up! Unless you have someting even close to that or a family member does, you have no right to say she doesn't have it!" and then she'd say "well neither do you so meh!" and I'd say "how would you knwoyou crackwhore!" and it would gofrom there. any ideas?

You start by not attacking them for being NT...

After that, basically treat it like a teaching situation. If they want to learn, great. If not, there's no point in trying.

Yeah, pretty much. If they're willing to listen about it, to actually learn about it, great. If not, there's no real point in trying.

To be honest, not the slightest idea. She sounds like a superficial friend.

She is. ButI still want to tell her. She's my main friend right now, and i'm quite curious to see what she'd do.

I've got a bad feeling that any attempt at explanation will be taken by her as excuse at best, B.S. at worst. As for how to bring it up...again... no clue. I've tried coming up with something, but everything I come up with sounds something like "So about you thinking that I'm weird...here's why," which just sounds really odd to me.

Try digging around Autism Discussion. I made a thread called the NT's Guide to Aspergers, although it's sunken deep into the pages of WP.
