Very disapointed in pop tarts

so the last 2 weeks I have been obsessed with obtaining a pop tart to try, I live in the UK so they are generally not as popular as they are in the USA.

I got a chocolate one and I can safely say that I found them too sweet and I did not like the consistency.

I was looking forward to it so much, I know its a silly thing to get excited by but I often get hung up on things like this

Anyone got any flavours they swear by that are nicer than the chocolate ones?

I've had strawberry pop tarts in the past. They were okay, but like you said, a little sweet.

I'm an American and I never liked them.It's like a too sweet filling between cardboard.A do-nut is a lot tastier.The commercials try to make everything look tasty.They lie.

I loved them as a kid in the late 90s/early 00s but nowadays will only eat them if there's nothing else to eat.

I don't see what y'all have against them. They're awesome in my book.

they are 180-200 calories of mostly sugar.

I had a cookie dough Pop Tart once... It was definitely way sweet, but excellent!

I've tried Pop Tarts for the first time in years a month and a half ago. I've also found the filling to be too sweet. I've loved them as a kid and teenager. Oh, the things we eat when we're young.

I like the brown sugar cinnamon ones, but they only taste right, to me anyway, when they're cold. The horses like them cold too.

I'm not a huge fan of poptarts. I eat them on occasion because they are cheap (the dollar store brand is at least) but I'd rather have real food.

I occasionally like an unfrosted one. The one's with frosting are often bit sweeter than I prefer.

You do know that POP TARTS IS DISAPPOINTED IN YOU!

On a more serious note, I like those toaster strudels a little better than Pop tarts to be honest

I haven't had a pop tart in years, and now I'm craving one. Those things are so delicious, yet so ridiculously artificial and un-foodlike it's not even funny.

We do not usually have them in the house.
But on one of my other forums in October, some were going on about how great
pumpkin pie Pop Tarts were and only sold that time of year.
So after a certain amount of kid begging, some were finally bought, and i was completely
disappointed in them. I mean real pumpkin pie is a million times better, so those were a waste.
