I thought I was going to be the first President born in Hawaii, but dang ole Obama beat me to it!

Ah, when I was a kid, I wanted to be the most awesome skater the world has ever seen. Like, I'd dream of cartwheeling and spinning like a BOSS while I'm on ice. I tried that once. It didn't really work.
Still awesome, though.

When I was a kid I wanted to be the captain of an interstellar space craft. I really thought we'd have those by now.

When I was a kid the world looked much bigger. Years later I made a return visit to my first school and the main hall (which seemed huge) was tiny, I could cross it in a dozen steps.

I didn't have these strange ambitions that kids seem to have. I had no ambition at all really, I was always unhappy and never saw a future.

You probably would make a better president than Obama.

Same here. I had soo many problems with school & with my parents that I just wanted to be done with it. I had no clue what I could actually do in life due to all my problems related to AS, dyslexia & physical disabilities no one understood. I still don't really know what I could do. When I was really little I sometimes thought about being a comedian or singer but it was not serious or anything & I never thought I could really do that. When I was alittle older I thought about being a police detective but like the singer & comedian ideas it was not serious & I never thought I could really do it. I would of much rathered live in Star Trek world but knew that was never going to happen.

When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up to be a man. I still wish to be a man. I know I am on the inside.

I don't find it confusing. I'm transgendered and that doesn't confuse me.

One more thing. I give Dave credit for writing and recording that song, even though he bullied Mick (my favourite Kink and kindred soul) around off and on.

When I was a about 7, I wanted a wheelchair. I am not physically disabled, but it just seemed like such a cool idea to be able to ride around in one.

You don't really believe that, do you, he hasn't ever really produced a real birth certificate.

When I was 7, I wanted my two front teeth.

I always wanted to make enough money to move out of my mother's apartment, and get an apartment of my own. I succeeded at age 20. That was the extent of my ambition.
