i think brainman is a documentary about savants (a play on the rainman movie that everyone has heard of)

He went to Cambridge to find out if he's autistic, sponsored by Discovery.
The Cambridge representative said that he has just enough social skills and that it's not interfering with his life, that it would prevent an autism diagnosis.

Daniel is also a synesthete. He associates distinct images with numbers.

I think I saw this program on tv about a year ago. Is he the one with phenomenal memory, and he used his complex synesthesia to remember things the order of several decks of cards? I think he would associate them with landmarks when he went on a walk beforehand . . .if its the same guy. Looks like him, but I'm bad with faces.
