Anybody like Police Cars?

Does anybody else here have a fascination with police cars? I do ever since I got me a new car I get excited and dwell on it and it just so happens to be a former police car a ford crown victoria p71 its fun to drive and goes really fast. I remember riding in the back seat of these cars whenever I used to run away from home as a kid. But now I get to ride in the front its nice! Whats really cool is that it became a taxi for a while so it got repainted with a lime green but they forgot to detune the engine so its really fast the prior owner couldnt handle it being too fast for a cab so he retired it and sold it to me for cheap and now I have it and its fun to drive! The only down side is theres no cd player or cup holders in it to make way for all the equipment it used to have. Ill send pics of mine shortly.

I like looking at them, but I don't like being followed by them.

I like some of the old police cars shown in old gangster movies.

As for new police cars: they are just cars.

I like the scene in the Blues Brothers movie where he's getting out of prison & his friend picks him up in a former police car I also like driving police cars in Grand Theft Auto

I like the classic British police cars.

I like them, except when their lights are flashing.

My favorite TV show that I'm a bit obsessed with is a police drama "Adam-12" from the late sixties early seventies. At one point I was so obsessed that I found a list of the radio codes in a manual online for the Los Angeles Police Department and memorized all of them.

OMG no, although I did drive one once. Long story, alcohol involved. Nobody got in trouble cause we didn't get caught. He was out of town.

Who? The police officer?? without his car???

Yeah, it was a neighbors. He drove it home always. Me and his wife were friends. He took her car and I didn't have one and we needed to go somewhere.

But where were the police officers supposed to put their cups when they got coffee and donuts?!

They can be distracting when they have someone pulled over rite in front our place late at night & place is very close to the road & I'm in the front part of it. But I rather the lights than the sirens due to hearing sensitivity with higher frequencies; being around loud power tools, dish-washing machines & floor cleaning machines is pretty tolerable & I can tune it out but a cat mewowing is painful.

Did you have the lights on to make traffic easier
