Well, the other day I bought a really cute vintage black and white 1940's housedress. It's a below the knee, shirtwaist short sleeve button front black and white check dress. Looks nice. I been wanting to wear it and do a nice Victory Roll hairdo and wear my new red lipstick and the new eyeliner, but this morning I've also been watching Downton Abby to get some ideas for party decorations, basically get in the spirit of the era and now I'm considering one of the Edwardian/1920's reproduction dresses and a different hair and makeup look.
I don't know which to wear and just can't decide so I'm asking what ya'll think. Should I go 40's, early 20th century, or some other decade? I have something from most of the 20th century so that won't be a problem. When do you think I should be today?
