Does anyone here know a way to build up your credit score? I haven't heard anything on my card application so I believe it's been denied.

I had some medical bills a few years back that went into collections before I could pay them off. But they're paid now and I want to buy a trailer soon so I need better credit. But I have no idea where to start.

I've been told to buy something at a rent-to-own place. We have one. I've been in it. I am not paying good money on a camouflage couch or a cow hide rocking chair. Absolutely not!

So what's left? Maybe they can order something that isn't hideous for me?

Some banks offer secured credit-cards. Some of the money gets locked in your account that they hold incase you don't pay your bill. That was the 1st credit-card I had & I used it for most everything & paid the bill every month.

Thanks. I asked my bank about one but they handed me an application for a regular credit card. Apparently they called it secured because I won't have to pay if my info gets stolen:/ that's not what I was asking for.

My mom suggested getting a rent to own storage shed. We do need a shed to get the tools out of the weather.
