80-120 depending on the keyboard and how cold my hands are. Certain keyboards just make me wanna type lol if that makes any sense. I can type faster on keyboards that click rather than soft keys.

^ Aye.

Just clarifying that the numbers in the poll are characters per minute.
So if you're using your regular WPM (words per minute) for this, Speed is actually WPM * 5. :)

Oh, well I meant words per minute. 5 WPM sounds like my mother's typing speed =)

My average seems about 250, if I use the example text...If I just go with random characters its a lot slower. I did make a couple mistakes but IRL you can just go back and fix those lol.

The unknown text samples are between 300 and 500 for me, so 400 (80 WPM) on average.

It's pretty neat that you can write 700 chars/min consistently, Noca. 8O

I don't know.
My brain hesitates to follow the speed limit of my hands.

I was averaging about 140, which I don't think is bad for someone who types with one finger of one hand.

The last time I was tested was back in college on one of those IBM Selectrics where I scored 60 GWAM. I have no idea how that would translate to characters per minute.

Have taken more than one speed test.

Under 20 words per minute.

About 70-100 WPM or 350-500 characters per minute.
