Saw this in another forum. Too golden not to share!

How many forum members does it takes to change a light bulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

10 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs

5 to flame the spell checkers

3 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty

7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's

3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

18 who trip over each other in their rush to say "repost!"

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

ComEd has a commercial... how many stock traders does it take to change a light bulb.

1 to unscrew the bulb and drop it

1 to catch it before it hits the floor and sell it

A motorscooter forum I've been on for about three years: www.burgmanusa.com. The "Jesters' Court" area is where I like to go for great jokes of all kinds, and that's where I found this one.

Oooo, here's another good one from the same website:

A little boy went up to his father and asked: "Dad, where
did my intelligence come from?"
The father replied, "Well, son, you must have got it from
your mother, 'cause I still have mine."

This thread is nine years old, and yet its the best joke so far in the new year.. in which case it may be time to switch off the xmas lights before they cause a real choking hazard.. I think I hear a cat choking on some old rewiring.
It can't be any worse than Clarke Griswold's..

It takes only two forum members to change a light bulb.

One male forum member who lacks the social skills to find just the right socket for his bulb.

One female forum member who lacks the social skills to find just the right bulb for her socket.

And both to go to the dating forum to gripe about how their gender has it worse than the other!

...

Besides, the correct term is "Incandescent Lamp"!

None...Executive Function issues

1...can't stand to work with others

1...and if it's a special interest, it will be done again and again.......

2...One to work, the other to drift off thinking about it (That would be me by the way, so, raspberries to all of you thinking otherwise!! LOL)

3...But it would take forever because it's executive issues cubed

I think its all relevant to the thread, and am wondering how much of an interior challenge and topic it is.

The only thing this O.P didn't mention was how many members it would take to post videos or to use an edit function. So -13 + 2+5 for uses. 184 + any who think this thread is a way to pass through unsunny intervals.

Is this a test to encourage more people to post?

Either way, my vids-

How many cats does it take to change a lightbulb? :cat:

Five ways to reuse a light bulb (I'm currently watching The Great Interior Design Challenge)

I thought I'd weigh up the pros and cons in later life and why men hate changing lightbulbs.
Its all in the knees and downhill from there

Q1) Does the daughter/wife sound encouraging? Q2) Is anyone conplaining Q3) Should anyone be holding the ladder?
