I got a concussion on May 10, 2016. I lost my balance and fell over backward, like a tree, onto my back and head.

The ambulance put me on a backboard and put a collar and helmet. At hospital, I had a scan and stayed overnight.

They gave me a prescription for a walker and told me to get a really good one, don't save money on this.

My question is: should I still be dizzy 3 weeks later (now)? Should I start running back and forth to doctors and their endless tests? Can I just go back to bed and have nightmares again?

Does anybody have anything even just kind to say? I'm isolated and people make promises to help me (mail my tax form) and they don't show up. Also somebody has to buy stamps. I'm too dizzy.

You should call the doctor and tell him/her your symptoms.

Maybe he/she might recommend you go back to the outpatient clinic.

Thanks for your message.

I can't talk to my doctor except in person. I can talk to my nurse who has no opinions about anything except that I should see the doctor.

Of course the doc will want blood tests, what do you think?

This is not a good time to start another medical steeplechase, especially when they usually end up telling me to go back to bed.

No, I'm not asking for your medical opinion lol.

I think you should err on the side of caution.

You should see the doctor.

I understand you feel the rollercoaster--

but it's something that should be looked at.

It might not be anything. Who knows? Maybe you're catching a cold! LOL

Seriously, though, I'd get this checked out.

It's true: it might not be anything. But it's better to find out if it's anything.
