i have to say i admire her commitment, and i'm curious to see if there'll be a punchline. i wonder if her character is her own creation or if the whole thing is actually someone else's project. whoever is behind this, they really know what they're doing, and they're good at it

and, curiously, watching her videos will leave you even more clueless

apparently she's just an actual singer (i actually like her songs so far), and the enigmatic videos are the creation of that "titanic" guy (what kind of name is that? lol). in the end there's a very high chance that i'm just going to be disappointed and think "what a pretentious hipster", but in the meantime i think it's interesting how they're keeping it all completely open-ended. nobody really knows what it's all about, or how interconnected are her creepy videos and her actual songs. maybe there's a story and a message, maybe it's just another clever publicity stunt by someone who likes to make fun of everybody (their viewers in particular)

but most of all i like how they're approaching "millennial" themes. it makes me think (mission accomplished, i suppose)
