Seconded, particularly if you're familiar with Tumblr memes. *shudder*

And no I don't believe so, I think I saw it in a dictionary of black slang from 1971 in my uni library.

I thought it originated from the Toby Keith song

I thought it originated on the Maury show, the most disgusting piece of mind-rotting garbage to ever air on TV and is even worse than Jerry Springer, if that's possible.

The Zombies were a British Invasion band of the Sixties (competed with the Beatles) with hits in 1964.

"Time of the Season" was one of the later hits (1969). But even that predated that dictionary.

But its possible that the Zombies might have gotten the term from the same Black/Jazz/blues slang that the dictionary got it from.

"Daddy" means "sugar daddy" in songs ( or thats my interpretation). Still kinda creepy. But its used a lot in song. Springsteen used the phrase in a song in the Eighties, as well as the above mentioned Toby Keith more recently.

The calm before the (barf) storm!

Why does virtually every movie or show, medical or not, have to have a "puke take?" Makes me want to barf, no kidding.

Um...

I have never noticed that in movies. And I am not sure how you got to that topic from "who's your daddy?".

But, feel free to talk about it if you wanna!
