Have you ever hurt your pet on accident?

I feel really bad for this. I was walking through the sliding glass door, and I was calling for Schmoo. I heard the bell on her collar, so I thought she was inside the house. So I closed to sliding door, and something was inbetween the door. It was Schmoo. Thank god I didn't slam it like I usually do.
Now I'm always careful when I open and close doors. I feel awful for doing that to her.

I have walked into Flo before and shut the door thinking she's not there.
I think they know we do it by accident though so as long as they're alright it's OK.

Schmoo was distant for the rest of the day. It killed me.

Well few days ago I stayed away to long(fell asleep at my sisters) and my 20 year old dog could not stand up and he struggled for many hours and his skin was red and raw in places and he was completely exhausted . Seem OK now though.

All the time.

My dear passed on cat: Meg, was very sore, and sometimes I picked her up the wrong way by mistake and she cried. It really upset me.
I've stood on her tail before too by mistake, and It sucks. Poor wee thing.

I tend to walk into the new kittens a lot nowdays because they run infornt of me when i'm trying to walk. The result is my leg pushes them out of the way. I don't mean too. I hope they don't hold it against me.

I sit on my cats all the time because I think they're my t-shirts (they're all black)
I realise right away and get up-they don't get hurt really-they just look at me

Mine get walked into, because they stand right in front of your feet when you're walking, and I occasionally tread on a tail or a toe. They used to get all upset but I always say sorry profusely and give them extra cuddles and I think they've got the idea that it happens by accicent now. Bless 'em!

My cat Milo had a very long tail, and it was stepped on more than once. He also followed me around like a baby and if I make a sudden move, it was easy to get a paw under my foot.

I have stepped on my cat's tail and I have accidently stepped on her tummy while running out to the car because she got in my way.

I've rolled over on Underdog and pissed him off and stepped on his foot. I have also drawn blood while cutting his nails

Everyone seems to have stood on Sandy's (My dog) paw or tail a few times including me. She yelps but seems to realise it's an accident because she usually wags her tail and walks over to us. She gets more hurt (moody) if you shout at her rather than accidentally stepping on her.

Thank God she got use to me and stopped trying to bite my hands and face

Never have and hopefully never will.

Rabbits can be amazingly fast when a human foot gets to close.

tread on cats tails, sat on cat (she went under my bed covers,) stood on dogs tail and feet.

One of my cats is made of iron, and thusly highly attracted to my magnetic feet. She's a freak.
