Of course. I have heard it in the news about planes crashing and people surviving.

Of course - people do all the time. It depends a crash on takeoff or landing is probably most survivable, but if the wings come off at 20,000 feet, nobody's going to survive.

Sure, that plane that landed in the Hudson River was technically a crash, and everyone survived. OTOH if all that's left after a crash is a big, smoking crater then the odds of survival are probably not good.

That's like saying "can I take a bunch of pills and survive?" without mentioning what pills and what you define as "a bunch".

There's way too many factors to take into account before an accurate answer can be given, how high was the plane? what is that plane's crash-worthiness? what angle did it come in at? were the engines running at the time? where in the plane are you sitting? is there anything that could come loose and strike you?

It would be impossible to give a simple yes or no answer to your question.

Sure, when I've heard of news about planes crashes, there are usually survivors.

Travis Barker? Yes he did, albeit with severe burns. He was in rehabilitation for a while and a lot of his tattoo work had to be completely redone.
