No. They're just people who smoke. A loser is defined by multiple poor life choices, not just one.

having no authority as judge, and no desire to fake such a peace of mind damaging role... no label is placed.

No, but I think they're putting their health at severe risk.

I think it's their choice & right to do what they want with/to their own bodies but I think they should be respectful of people who don't want to be exposed to the 2nd hand smoke.

I don't care, either way. It's not me putting the smokes in my mouth. They can do what they wish.

Not really. It's a tempting thought, but ultimately it's a personal choice. Not to mention, nicotine is one of the most addicting drugs ever, and a lot of people who try it end up being hooked. I've flirted with nicotine and haven't become addicted, but I'm a rare case.

If they do it in public, clouding our nice clean air up and making my clothes smell of their filth, then yes. In the privacy of their own homes? I've got no beef with that.

They need to realize what they're doing to their health and to the air is bad.

They're probably losing lung function.
I'm curious why so many people smoke recently though. They look to be 20-something. Why? The health risks are not a mystery anymore, and surely, no one thinks this is "cool" anymore.

I think a lot of people actually do. Smoking is something that's been demonized by society, so by doing it I think a lot of people see themselves as badass and rebellious. Which is ironic since the money they pay in taxes for the stuff goes to the government. :P

Smokers are not losers. Smoking is a way to cope with emotional/ psychological pain. There are many ways to cope with pain. People who thinks of people who are losers (judging) due to something they are doing / have done / looking a certain way presenting a certain image that causes people to conveniently slap a label onto it to devaluation are like just like people who does fat shaming.
