We have carpet & alot of cat litter, cat hair & hay gets on the floor(we have hay from our guinea pig) I sweep up the bigger pieces & vacuum using a canister vacuum with a carpet attachment. I sometimes have to take the carpet attachment apart because of hair & hay lodged in it. I don't think a robotic vacuum would work that well & last here.

Yeah I need a robotic vacuum cleaner because I won't be able to vacuum or clean my little place after a surgery for several weeks.
