Did you ever accidentally call your teacher "mom" or "dad" when you went to school? I did once. I was embarrassed. Fortunately the teacher didn't hear me.

And did you ever accidentally call your mom or dad one of your teacher's names?

No, but just the other day I was thinking about that episode of Recess where a character (Gus?) calls Ms. Grotke "mom".

Not that I can remember, anyway. I can remember a few times when someone else in the class did.

Heh, well. My dad was my teacher for a long while, so... I never called him "dad", but sure did call my teacher by my dad's name :P

No. When I was a kid we usually called the teachers Sir or Miss.

I've often wondered how awkward it would be if your teacher really was your mom or dad. If you called them mom or dad like you normally do, that would probably make the other kids snicker if if they already know, but it would feel a lot more weird to call them Mrs. or Mr. Anything. At least it would have been for me.

No, but I often call my mom "Master" and my sister "Sir."

I never done that on the phone but I did tell my dad I love him last time I was in Louisiana & went shopping cuz I'm used to telling my girlfriend I love her ALOT during the day & she didn't come down with me. I hate telling anyone but her I love them & I almost never say it to my mom & never say it to my dad.
