BC is burning. Metro Vancouver has worse are quality than Beijing or Dheli.
There are many pics and vids from small towns where it’s dark in the middle of the day due to smoke cover.
The sky is hazy and smoggy with smoke and it makes the sun glow red.

Yeah man, it's bad. I've been wanting to go for a run lately.. but I know it'd be REALLY bad to get your lungs all worked up sucking in all this smoke. Come to think of it, I haven't seen anyone out running for a while now.. everyone must be holding off. A few cyclists, though.. this can't be good for them.

I guess I'd better hurry up and get that doomsday shelter built because the world is clearly coming to an end.

A small storm front blew in yesterday morning and the wind cleared the skies for a bit.. we could see blue sky and clouds again! Then it rained a bit, which was good, and very cleansing for the air. The air quality advisories for Vancouver and the Fraser Valley have been lifted. Kind of grey skies now, I think it's clouds not smoke, and we're expected to have rain over the long weekend for Labour Day next weekend.. not the best for going to the beach, but our whole Province desperately needs rain, so I welcome it.

Well, that didn’t last long. Air quality advisories re-issued for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
By some measure, they said we were each inhaling the equivalent of about 8 cigarettes a day. That’ll likely return this week before rain next weekend.
