Do you see the "Unsupported Audio Signal" message on only one channel? If it's just one channel, then the problem is at the TV station. If it's on all channels, then you may need to update your TV's software.

Example, from https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00029149

Error: Unsupported audio signal. Check your device output.

IMPORTANT: For the models listed below, download and install the latest software to resolve this issue.

• KDL-32R420B
• KDL-32R430B
• KDL-40R470B
• KDL-40R480B
• KDL-48R470B

Downloads are posted on your model support page.

This error message will be displayed if a device connected to the television via the HDMI® connection is outputting an audio format that is not supported by the television. The television supports PCM audio only. Change the audio output settings of the connected device to PCM or two-channel audio to resolve this issue.

NOTE: It may be necessary to refer to the instruction manual for the connected device or contact the device manufacturer for assistance in changing the audio setting.

Check the audio settings in Netflix - If surround sound (5.1) is selected, try changing it to a non-5.1 option to see if it helps.
