Back in April this year I was down the pub waiting hours for my friends too show up. I was sought of wondering around the bar area. This one guy sitting with his group of friends noticed what I was doing and he said too me in an aggressive way “me and my friends have seen you mooching around all night and we think you look suspect”. They then all laughed at me.

2 weeks ago I saw the same guy chatting too some girls a few feet away from me he said too them while talking about me “he’s a weirdo that guy is I have seen him before”

Do you think my behaviour has somehow offended him?

If you're just wandering aimlessly around a bar area that would look suspect, like you're looking to steal something or trying to leer at girls, whatever.
Even if you're completely innocent it still looks weird to other people.
Your behaviour probably made him feel defensive rather than offended, as he's now warning other people about you.

Maybe he was an undercover policeman. Defensive or not he’s still a major prick.
