Ladies, Gentlemen and the Gender Diverse,
It gives me great pleasure in presenting my new play: The Ferret and the Rose.

The backdrop:
It is a time of political upheaval.
A time where power meets power to battle for the ultimate prize.
None other than the title of: "Benevolent Dictator of the Wrong Planet"!

The main protagonists:

The Ferret:
A skulking yet cunning individual beset by sexual ambiguity.
He lusts to resolve his ontological confusion.
Perceived as calm and efficient, he is overwhelmingly consumed by a need to find personal meaning,
And believes he has found that deliverance from nihilistic oblivion.
He is bewitched by the beautiful and beguiling "Rose of the Realm".

The Rose:
An unwitting enchantress.
A beauty beyond mere mortal comprehension.
Learned and compassionate.
Patron of all the flora and the fauna of the realm.
It is said she is the lost eternal queen of the Elves.

The Seer:
A complex and sensitive individual.
Blown by the fickle winds of fancy.
Finding little comfort amongst his peers,
Since he has none.
He has the power of foresight,
And will forever ebb and flow between the dimensions of reality and time.

I like it.

The Lady and the Ferret. It has been forseen centuries ago!

I'm reminded of The Purple Wedding from Game of Thrones between The Lion and The Rose.



(I still can't stop obsessing on that horrible show...)

Just like Margaery controlled Joffrey, is The Lady in control of The Ferret?

Can I be the Alien Ambassador?

I Loved A Rose

The Norwegian Ambassador:

An alien immigrant from the land of the Fjords.
He has travelled leagues to contest the political power struggle.
Well versed in political intrigue.
Stout of mind.
Creative.
But beware the dirk hidden in his boot.
