Hello, I see that quiet a few people like to use wolf images in their profile pictures and some in their names.
I thought i would start up a post about Wolf symbolism from different cultures and political view points.
Firstly, may i note the use of the wolf by pop culture, as in the original delta blues men.
In this culture the wolf symbol is associated with the predatory bad man blues man, the outlaw, but also
indicative of the musical style, where the blues guitarist makes his guitar scream as the wolf howls at the moon.
In Native american Indian culture, the wolf is a hunter, courageous and strong.
In Viking culture is associated with witchcraft, which is positive. as Witches held a high position in their society.
The nazi's also liked to use the wolf symbol in their culture. I think that the nazi's used wolf behaviourism in nature, to give them licence to gang bully people. Strength in the wolf pack so to speak. A strategy that they used in warfare as well.
Anyone else have any interesting info on the use of the wolf symbolism.
